These Terms of Use ("ToU") govern the conditions of access to and use of the services provided by the Dexcity platform. By accessing or using the site, users fully and unreservedly accept these ToU. Dexcity is published by a simplified joint-stock company (SASU) registered in France, whose details are specified in the Legal Notices.
For the purposes of these ToU, the following terms shall have the meanings given below:
Dexcity is a hybrid digital platform dedicated to public debates, allowing users to attend debates, participate, create live audiovisual content, interact via messages, and support other users through contributions. It aims to foster a respectful, participatory, and stimulating environment, accessible to an adult international audience.
Access to certain features requires creating an account and providing accurate information. Users must be at least 18 years old. Any breach may result in immediate suspension of the account.
Subscription to a monthly plan (EUR 14.99 to EUR 24.99, VAT incl.) provides access to:
Subscriptions are renewed automatically unless cancelled via the personal account space. Any started period remains due.
Dexcity offers a system of contributions known as "tips." Payments are processed via Stripe, with a 33% commission retained by Dexcity. The recipient must have a verified Stripe account. Each user is responsible for declaring income to the relevant tax authorities.
All users must comply with applicable laws and adopt respectful behavior. The following are strictly prohibited: hate speech, discriminatory or defamatory remarks, incitement to violence, distribution of illegal content, or identity theft. Dexcity may suspend or delete accounts in case of breach.
The platform includes reporting tools. Moderation is carried out by permanent moderators and automated systems. Sanctions may range from warnings to permanent account deletion.
The content published on Dexcity (texts, logos, videos, graphics) is protected by intellectual property laws. Any reproduction or distribution without authorization is prohibited. Users remain owners of their content but grant Dexcity a right of use for operational and promotional purposes.
Dexcity complies with the GDPR. Data collected is limited, securely stored, and used solely for service provision. Users may request modification or deletion of their data via their profile or by email.
Users may close their accounts at any time. Dexcity may suspend or delete an account in cases of serious breach (fraud, abuse, repeated non-compliance).
Dexcity may amend these ToU at any time. Substantial changes will be notified. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These ToU are governed by French law. Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
